Funky Monkeys are a husband and wife team of childminders based in Sherwood Nottingham. Funky Monkeys offers a safe, nurturing environment where your child will get the attention and care that he or she needs. Our ratio of children to adults is always within Ofsted guidelines - and often even lower - to make certain each child receives top-quality care. 

 

We are Ofsted registered as a childminding facility, and have met all health and safety guidelines required by them.

 

At Funky Monkeys, we see and treat all children as individuals. Your child will be encouraged to participate in developmentally-appropriate activities throughout the day, such as:

We do our bit to encourage a healthy lifestyle, in that we will take part in regular exercise activities such as going for walks or to the park, and eating healthy food. Our food is mainly organic or locally produced, snacks are carefully chosen and often home made, and drinks are also the healthy option.

We are childminders in Sherwood, however we also serve the local areas such as Arnold, Daybrook, Woodthorpe.

 

We are a husband and wife team with our own children. You can rest assured that your child will be cared for with the utmost kindness, love and respect as we believe all children are precious gifts.
